Working at Grow Growing at Work
We're a caring and inclusive employer with a reputation for high-quality tree care.
Why work at Grow?
-
Become a well-rounded arborist
Our work is incredibly diverse. Every day is different. You'll learn every aspect of tree work, not just removals. You'll hone your skills pruning everything from rhodos to Douglas firs, and you'll work for residential clients, commercial and strata properties, and our local municipalities (caring for trees in our city parks and greenways).
-
Be cared for
One of our values is caring and we care about people as much as we care about trees. Everyone who works at Grow is kind and a team player. There are no big egos here. We care about your life outside of work. We don't work evenings, weekends or expect 10 hour days.
-
Be safe
We've been in business for 15 years. We have established clients, a great reputation, and work through all seasons. We're also in the top 3% of companies our size in BC for WorkSafeBC experience rating (a factor that takes into account both years in business and safety record).
-
Keep learning
We have over 65 years of combined experience in arboriculture. Our company trainer has 15 years of experience in the UK and Europe. You will not be short of mentors, from the management or from your peers. We'll support your career education through internal training and funding for external courses.
-
Make a difference
At Grow, we believe that environmental stewardship begins with educating clients on the diverse aspects of tree care. We encourage people to talk about trees as living organisms rather than objects, as a part of our shared natural environment rather than as possessions. We are passionate about our work and approach all of our tasks with a high standard of care.
